API and Subscriptions

Our API is open to any group with a valid paid subscription. This is fine if you're using it with an existing group, however, you could run into problems when you're creating new groups.

If you are creating new groups with the API, then your best option is to create them within an existing paid Organization (set the organizationId on the Group). This way, the new group will inherit the Organization subscription and be accessible with the API.

It's worth noting that the Organisation you use does not necessarily have to have an Organization subscription. If every group within the Organization has an individual subscription, then your new group will automatically get a new group subscription using the same payment details.
